About The Artist

Gwen Margolis’s artistic interests were revealed early in life when her parents found her painting walls with various food substances available to her as a toddler…She won her first art contest at age six.

Fiber arts and clay were her chosen media as a young adult.

 In Los Angeles, she studied art at Santa Monica College, and taught private art classes. While living in Kauai, she has enjoyed exhibiting and selling her art in numerous Kauai Society of Artists shows. 

Most recently, Gwen studied mosaic in Mexico with the gifted international mosaic artist Laurel True.

Gwen enjoys residing in both Spokane and Kauai.

Returning to her love of textiles and recycling, Gwen has been creating fabric collages, almost entirely from recycled materials. She is excited to share them with you.
